The Centre of Experimental and Clinical Regenerative Medicine uses the following methodological procedures as part of its scientific and research activities:

  • isolation of mesenchymal stem cells from adult tissues (bone marrow, adipose tissue, liver and spleen) and neonatal tissues (umbilical cord, amnion and placenta),
  • morphological and phenotypic characterization (flow cytometry) of isolated mesenchymal stem cells,
  • multilineage characterization of mesenchymal stem cells,
  • isolation of RNA and DNA from cultured cell populations,
  • preparation of the conditioned medium of the monitored cell populations,
  • isolation of primary cultures from different tissues (fibroblasts, keratinocytes, neural progenitors) of neural cells from the central nervous system,
  • isolation of primary cultures of tumor cells from mammary gland carcinoma,
  • immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical methods,
  • application of stem cells and their products in regenerative medicine,
  • identification of biomarkers for oncological diseases of the mammary gland,
  • screening of biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases.
